The protection of your personal data has a high priority for the Telekom Healthcare Solutions. It is important for us to inform you about what personal data is collected, how they are used and what options you have in this regard.

  1. What data is recorded, how is it used, and how long is it stored?
    1.  Necessary processing for the provision of the digital service (Art. 6 para. 1b GDPR, §25 para. 2 no. 2 TTDSG)
      • When you visit our websites, the web server temporarily records the domain name or your computer’s IP address, the file requested (file name and URL) by the client, the http response code, and the website from which you are visiting us.
        The recorded data is used solely for data security purposes, particularly to protect against attempted attacks on our web server We do not use it to create individual user profiles nor do we share this information with third parties. It is erased after seven days at the latest. We reserve the right to statistically analyze anonymized data records.
    2. Processing in the provision of the Digital Service by third parties
      • Many operating systems provide the possibility to dictate the text in addition to input via keyboard. When using this function, the language is processed by the third party (e.g. Apple, Google, Microsoft) as the controller and the result is displayed in the input field. For details of the functionality, how you can switch the use on or off and the legal basis of the processing, please contact the respective operating system manufacturer (third party).
  2. Authorisations for access to data and functions of the end device by the digital service
    In order to be able to use the digital service on your device, it must be able to access various functions and data on your device. To do this, it is necessary for you to grant certain permissions (Art. 6 para. 1a GDPR, §25 para. 1 TTDSG).The permissions are programmed differently by the different manufacturers. For example, individual permissions can be grouped into permission categories, or you can agree to only the permission category as a whole.
    Please note that in the event of a conflict between one or more authorizations, you may not be able to use all the features of our digital service. 
    If you have granted permissions, we will only use them to the extent described below:
    1. Internet CommunicationsThe digital service requires access to the Internet via W-LAN or mobile communications so that the browser can contact the web server and render the website. 
  3. Data control of the social media plug-ins used or links to social media platforms
    The website of the Telekom Healthcare Solutions contains links to social media networks (like e.g. Facebook, Google, Instagram, X, Pinterest, Xing, TikTok or LinkedIn). In our digital service, we only use the pictograms of the respective social media network. Only by clicking on the pictogram will you be directed to the company page on the respective social media platform. The social media platforms as well as the third-party content providers, which can be reached via the pictograms, provide these services and the processing of their data under their own responsibility.  
    By clicking on a link via the pictogram, also for sharing content (Art. 6 para. 1 a GDPR), the following data can be transmitted to the social media providers: IP address, browser information, operating system, screen resolution, installed browser plug-ins, previous page if you followed a link (referrer), the URL of the current page, etc.
  4. Is my usage behavior evaluated, e.g. for advertising or tracking?
    1. Required services
      This processing is necessary for you to be able to navigate through the Digital Service and use essential functions. They enable basic functions of the website and are used for the anonymous evaluation of user behavior, which we use to continuously develop our digital service for you. The legal basis for this processing is §25 (2) No. 2 TTDSG, Art. 6 (1b) GDPR or, in the case of third countries, Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.

    2. Services from other companies (self-responsible third-party providers)
      We have integrated services from third-party providers who provide their services independently or under joint responsibility with Deutsche Telekom. When using our digital service, data is collected by means of cookies or similar technologies and transmitted to the respective third party, in some cases for Deutsche Telekom's own purposes. The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 (1) (a) and Art. 49 (1a) GDPR. For information on further processing for the third-party provider's own purposes, please refer to the third-party provider's privacy policy (purposes, storage period and legal basis). Insofar as data processing is also carried out under joint responsibility of Deutsche Telekom, we inform you about the possible risks as follows.

      • Google YouTube Videos
        YouTube collects data to provide better services to users, from determining basic information, such as your language, to more complex questions, such as advertising. What data YouTube collects and how it is used depends on how you use the Services and how you manage your privacy settings. If you're not signed in to a Google Account, the data collected is stored with unique identifiers associated with the browser, app, or device. This can ensure, for example, that the language settings are maintained for all sessions. If you're signed in to a Google Account, we'll also collect information that's stored in your Google Account and is considered personal information.       • OpenStreetMap
        We use the open source map service "OpenStreetMaps" (also called "OSM") of the company OpenStreetMap Foundation, 132 Maney Hill Road, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B72 1JU, United Kingdom. OSM is used to provide an interactive map on our website that shows you how to find and reach us. This service enables us to present our website in an appealing way by loading map material from an external server. The following data is transmitted to OSM's servers during the display: the one of our web pages that you have visited and the IP address of your terminal device. The legal basis for the processing of your data in relation to the "OSM" service is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 letter f) DSGVO (legitimate interest in data processing). The legitimate interest results from our need for an appealing presentation of our online offer and the easy findability of the places indicated on our homepage.

      • Web hoster
        As the website hoster, Domainfactory collects and stores various personal data in the form of server log files. In this regard, Domainfactory GmbH acts as the controller withing the meaning of data protection law and is the contact for questions regarding the processing of this data. The data protection statement, including the contacts of Domainfactory GmbH, is available at www.df.eu/de/datenschutz/. The data processed by Domainfactory GmbH is collected automatically through the user’s browser.
        • The following log files are generated:

          Web server log file
          Contains: domain, IP address, user agent, time stamp, status code
          Retention time: 7 days
          FTP log file
          Contains: FTP user, IP address, downloaded/uploaded files
          Retention time: 24 hours
          SSH log file
          Contains: SSH user, IP address
          Retention time: 3 days
          Email log file
          Contains: metadata (sender, receiver, time, IP address, size)
          Retention time: 3 days
           
          All log files are rotated daily. The log files from the previous day are archived and are available to the web hoster for the respective retention times. These are purely internal log files that are only accessible to Domainfactory.   5. Where can I find the information that is important to me?
    Additional information on data protection when using our products, in particular on the purposes of use, deletion periods, etc., can be found in the data protection information for the respective product under www.telekom.de/datenschutzhinweise, in the Telekom Shop or under www.telekom.com/datenschutz.

  6. What rights do I have?
    You have the right
    1. to request information on categories of data processed, processing purposes, possible recipients of the data, the planned storage period (Art. 15 GDPR);
    2. request the correction or completion of incorrect or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR);
    3. to revoke a given consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR);
    4. to object at any time for the future to data processing that is to be carried out on the basis of a legitimate interest, for reasons arising from your particular situation (Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR), stating these reasons. You can object to data processing for direct marketing purposes at any time without stating these reasons (Art. 21 para. 2, 3 GDPR);
    5. in certain cases, request the deletion of data within the framework of Art. 17 GDPR  - in particular if the data is no longer required for the intended purpose or is processed unlawfully, or if you have withdrawn your consent in accordance with (c) above or have declared an objection in accordance with (d) above;
    6. under certain conditions, to demand the restriction of data if deletion is not possible or the obligation to delete is disputed (Art. 18 GDPR);
    7. data portability, i.e. You can receive your data that you have provided to us in a commonly used machine-readable format, such as z.B. CSV, and, if necessary, transmit it to others (Art. 20 GDPR;)
    8. to complain to the competent supervisory authority about the data processing (for telecommunications contracts: Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information; otherwise: State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia).
  7. Who does Telekom Healthcare Solutions pass my data on to?
    To processors, i.e. companies that we commission to process data within the scope provided for by law, Art. 28 GDPR (service providers, vicarious agents). In this case, Deutsche Telekom remains responsible for the protection of your data. In particular, we commission companies in the following areas: IT, sales, marketing, finance, consulting, customer service, human resources, logistics, printing.
    To cooperation partners who provide services for you on their own responsibility or in connection with your telecom contract. This is the case if you commission services from such partners with us or if you consent to the involvement of the partner or if we involve the partner on the basis of a legal permission.
    Due to legal obligation: In certain cases, we are required by law to transmit certain data to the requesting government entity. 
  8. Where is my data processed?
    Your data will be processed in Germany and other European countries. 
    In some cases, your data is also processed in countries outside the European Union (i.e. in so-called third countries).
    In all other respects, the following applies: If data processing takes place in third countries, this will take place insofar as you have expressly consented to this or if it is necessary for our provision of services to you or if it is provided for by law (Art. 49 GDPR).
    Your data will only be processed in third countries if certain measures are taken to ensure that an adequate level of data protection is in place (e.g. adequacy decision of the EU Commission or so-called suitable safeguards, Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.
  9. Who is responsible for data processing? Who is my contact person if I have questions about data protection at Deutsche Telekom?

On the Deutsche Telekom Healthcare and Security Solutions GmbH side, third-party services are integrated that provide their services independently or under joint responsibility with Telekom Deutschland GmbH. In this process, data and information are transmitted to third-party providers, processed for their own advertising purposes and merged with data from third parties.

When you visit web pages of Deutsche Telekom Healthcare and Security Solutions GmbH, data is collected by means of cookies or similar technologies and transmitted to third parties, in some cases for Deutsche Telekom's own purposes. To what extent, for what purposes and on the basis of which legal basis further processing is carried out for the third-party provider's own purposes, please refer to the privacy policy of the third-party provider (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, emetriq, etc.). In addition, we use a cross-device profiling mechanism in our digital services using IDs and email hashes and transmit socio-demographic information, such as postcode, age group and gender, to our partner company emetriq GmbH, which merges and processes the information with its own data for advertising profiling, also for its own purposes. Details can be found here. Telekom Deutschland GmbH and emetriq GmbH are joint controllers for cross-device profiling in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR.
