The mobile patient record

With Mobile Patient Record (MPR), medical professionals always have patient information readily available during mobile visits – for increased safety and more efficient workflows.

Mobile Patient care: the Patient in Focus

Digitalization in healthcare  increases the requirements for software solutions in hospitals. The Mobile Patient Record (MPR) intuitively supports medical professionals, is user-friendly, and provides real-time access

WHAT IS
THAT?

MPR is a scalable, highly available software solution integrated into SAP® technology. The solution provides a mobile patient record so that doctors and nurses can access patient information directly, even when they are not at a stationary workstation. With Mobile Patient Record, health data is always available on smartphones or tablets during mobile visits.

Our solution is built with the highest security standards to protect sensitive patient data in compliance with GDPR and prevent unauthorized access. Security measures include user authentication, access control, encryption, audit trails, backups, and recovery procedures. The system also logs every access to ensure data integrity and availability at all times.

WHY IS THAT
TOPIC IMPORTANT?

With the mobile patient record, healthcare professionals always and everywhere have comprehensive access to important patient information. This includes the medical history, allergies, medications, lab results, or even access to PACS images.

Based on this information, decisions can be made during the mobile visit and directly at the patient's bedside. This saves time, improves patient safety and care, and avoids redundant service requests. The intuitive use of the mobile software solution makes documentation easier for doctors and nurses. All information is available digitally and can also be digitally stored.

But it’s not just existing patient information that can be accessed during the visit. New findings can be created directly in the mobile case file. Text modules and speech recognition assist in creating documents, and findings can even be signed using a stylus.

FOR WHOM IS THIS
TOPIC INTERESTING?

Our mobile patient record solution – Mobile Patient Record – is valuable for those who need to quickly view and update patient information at the patient’s bedside or validate a new finding while on the go in the clinic, but without using our HIS solution iMedOne® or iMedOne® Mobile.

Clinical daily life is made easier for doctors and nurses with an integrated speech recognition and dictation function, allowing them to create new care orders, write medical histories, or complete tasks while documenting. By accessing PACS systems, for example, doctors can discuss X-ray images with the patient during the mobile visit without needing to carry special equipment and printed images. With the mobile scanning function, patient wristbands, blood bags, medications, and materials can be scanned, as well as documents brought by the patient, which can be quickly stored in the eCase File.
