iMedA is the integrated solution for patient management and billing within iMedOne®. Billing and medical controlling are essential components of the hospital process chain, as they contribute significantly to an organization’s financial success. With iMedA, we offer a fully integrated patient management and billing solution within the Hospital Information System (HIS). This eliminates data silos, ensures seamless data transmission, and guarantees real-time information flow across the entire hospital.
The software module automatically codes billable services based on current OPS codes and ICD classifications, preparing them for billing. It also supports the clinical billing of additional and optional services, such as chief physician treatment or private room accommodation. Core functions such as test and batch billing and an integrated cancellation feature further ensure efficient and time-saving workflows.
German hospitals currently using iMedOne®, or those planning to implement this HIS and currently relying on SAP® IS-H for billing, can easily migrate to iMedA. The billing tool is fully integrated into the Telekom HIS and interfaces seamlessly with SAP® ERP ECC or SAP S/4HANA® systems.
